I want to start this post off with an apology. I wish I had been more motivated to put together a post this past month, but beginning a new semester of college has taken up a lot of my time and energy. I am so happy to be writing this post. It feels good to get back into the blogging world. I hope you guys enjoy this tasty recipe.
I created this one this summer while I was trying to come up with new vegan, creamy milkshake recipes. My intention at first was to make a drink that would satisfy the sweet tooth, but the recipe delightfully was not too sweet. It is just the right amount of sweetness from the fruit, but it is not overpowering at all.
This is definitely a recipe for those who don’t much appreciate overly sweet things. I have definitely become one of those people. I was not always; I used to always pile in the sweet ingredients to my smoothies and shakes, with the intention of making it as sweet as physically possible. This was definitely not the healthiest of ideas.
I do still have a strong craving for something sweet every now and then, and a recipe like this is just what can get me through it.
This shake is:

- 2 Tablespoons almond butter
