Nutella Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
  • 2½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 Tablespoons cacao powder or cocoa powder
  • 2 medium squares dark chocolate, chopped
  • 3 Tablespoons Healthy Nutella
  • 2 Tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • coconut whipped cream(for topping)
Instructions
  1. If you haven't already, whip up a batch of healthy Nutella.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat almond milk over medium heat.
  3. Once milk is warm, stir in cacao powder and stir until dissolved.
  4. Chop dark chocolate and add to milk with healthy Nutella. Stir until chocolate is completely melted and Nutella is mostly dissolved.
  5. Stir in maple syrup.
  6. Slowly pour into 2 large mugs, keeping the tiny bit of hazelnut butter at the bottom in the saucepan.
  7. Prepare coconut whipped cream.
  8. If desired, top hot chocolate with whipped cream and melted dark chocolate.
Notes
