Who doesn’t love a nice big bowl of popcorn to go with a movie on a cold winter night? Plus, you can make tons of different variation, like caramel popcorn and coconut dark chocolate popcorn!
Step 1: Measure 1/3 cup popcorn kernels.
Step 2: Heat 3 Tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat with 2-4 popcorn kernels.
Step 3: Once the kernels pop, add the rest of the kernels and cover.
Step 4: Once nearly all have popped and popping slows, remove from heat and shake to keep from burning.
Step 5: Transfer to a large bowl and sprinkle with sea salt and any other flavors you want.
Popcorn is a classic movie snack, so get popping! You’ve got some movies to catch up on.
It only takes a few minutes to make a big bowl of delicious, warm popcorn, so enjoy!
- ⅓ cup popcorn kernels
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- Heat oil over medium-high heat with 2-4 kernels and cover.
- Once kernels pop, add the rest of the kernels and cover.
- Once nearly all is popped and popping slows, shake to keep from burning and remove from heat.
- Transfer to a large bowl and sprinkle with salt and any other flavors.
Great article!
I am always feeling very strange about microwave popcorn (well, microwaves in general), but always mess up my stove popcorn.
My daughter says, “burnt popcorn is the saddest smell in the world.”
Thank you for this, I will definitely try again with these directions! Hopefully my daughter won´t ever have to smell the saddest smell in the world ever again. Ha.
Thank you!
