Step 1: Measure 1/3 cup popcorn kernels.

Step 2: Heat 3 Tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat with 2-4 popcorn kernels.

Step 3: Once the kernels pop, add the rest of the kernels and cover.

Step 4: Once nearly all have popped and popping slows, remove from heat and shake to keep from burning.

Step 5: Transfer to a large bowl and sprinkle with sea salt and any other flavors you want.

How to Make Popcorn

Ingredients
  • ⅓ cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions

Great article!

I am always feeling very strange about microwave popcorn (well, microwaves in general), but always mess up my stove popcorn.
My daughter says, “burnt popcorn is the saddest smell in the world.”

Thank you for this, I will definitely try again with these directions! Hopefully my daughter won´t ever have to smell the saddest smell in the world ever again. Ha.
